Find Care & Housing
Assisted living facilities will try to accommodate their residents as long as they are able to do so successfully.

If the needs of a resident becomes overwhelming and exceeds what they can provide, they will notify the resident or the family members that they can no longer provide services for them.

At that point in time the resident will be transported to a skilled nursing facility.

What ABOUT the levels of care is of concern to you?

Just as an overview, and ALF will have the levels of care clearly written out for the family. If you wish access to what the levels consist of do ask at your facility. As a general overview the levels of care are usually levels l-lV and they range from level one being almost self caring to level IV requiring much more monitoring and care from the staff for medications, checking, incontinence, assist with meal set ups and etc. The cost of ALF is whatever the room cost is but the levels of care go up exponentially with higher needs and is added to the monthly fee.

I hope that little overview helps, but do ask us specific questions, and remember that the more detailed question you ask of us the more details we can try to give you in answers. Best out to you.
