My 77-year-old mom has been getting recurring UTIs that are getting worse and it seems like antibiotics are really disrupting her natural flora. I have read up on D Mannose and feel like this might be helpful. Can anyone recommend a good D Mannose brand?

Find Care & Housing
I have used Source Natural from Amazon, about 30.00 for 120, once a day for more than a decade. I had about four average a year infections prior to. Now about 2 in that last decade. I take heart med. Were I have to choose my heart meds or this one when going to a deserted island? I would take this one.
That's me.

I use nutrflair 1500mg. with cranberry and dandelion. Pretty sure I got them on Amazon. I use 1 a day although recommended dose is 2.
Sorry to be so graphic but check her tp brand; some are like razor blades to tender tissues and bacteria can get a foothold.
Baby Aquafor (for diaper rash) can help with that. I use it regularly.
I’ve been UTI free ever since.

I use Superior Labs and it's been great.

Is your mother on C-Mementine? This prescription was causing ongoing UTI's in Mom.

Once I took Mom off of the C-Mementine the UTI's stopped in their tracks.

When your Mom has a UTI is a culture done? If not, it should be. Its the only way she can get the correct antibiotic. The best way to get rid of them in by IV. My daughter, RN, says hospitals start with a broad stectrum antibiotic to see how that works. My Mom was placed on a cranberry tablet and probiotic. The last year of her life she had no UTIs. Alva swears by the D-Mannose.

Mom needs to drink plenty of water. I use Huggy wipes to make sure I am clean. No soap near the urethra. I have a handheld shower head I use to clean that area. White cotton panties. She also needs to void completely, which gets harder as we age. I have found I need to sit a few seconds longer and then I get the urge again. If she leans forward that helps too and push.
