Check with an agency in your area or look at nursing students who may be interested in working for you. Students always need extra money.

We had excellent care for my Dad using Home Instead, and used them for over a year. Even when Dad went into Memory Care, he had two of his favorite caregiver come with him to work 7 to 1pm weekdays, and weekends. It was good for Dad to wake up to the same smiling faces.

There are other fine caregiving agencies out there. Yes, they are expensive, but they are licensed, bonded, and insured. And if the caregiver cannot make her shift, the agency made a call out for a substitute for that shift, the caregivers quickly answered as my Dad was so easy to work with :)
